Coloring outside the lines

I took a little much-needed break! The thing is that I had to finish my finals (and pass them!). AND I did both, you can’t imagine how miraculous that achievement is for me!

My plans this summer: I honestly don’t have a clue, I would like to be more creative and maybe do videeeoooss😬. If, I am ever able to improve my editing skills (read as I have to educate myself, starting from 0). I genuinely feel awkward about the idea… but we shall see…

A few months ago, I saw 2 beautiful dresses on the H&M site. There was only 1 left in my size, so I had to be fast! I decided to order both of them. Then I could fit them and sent MINIMUM 1 back (sorry for screaming, but the minimum part is important!). Both of them ended up being very captivating, cute and enchanting. The opinions of my friends, mom, … were very divided and I decided that waiting a few days till I would return one wouldn’t hurt. Days changed into weeks… I ended up making a stain on one of them (thanks to mother nature)… You can already predict it… I kept both!

In this blog post, I styled one of them. My inspo for this look came from an Instagram styling video. A little country vibe by adding a belt and boots. In this case my Dr. Martens. Confession: In the winter I was already thinking about some spring/summer looks in which I could integrate them, this way was one of them. They make a cute look not too childish, innocent, it’s like slightly coloring outside the lines. Blue and brown a combo that surprises me time after time after time. I can’t think of another jacket that would have matched this whole look better.
