A mini city guide to Paris

Another travel post, I know! I don’t what is up with me, but I am all over city tripping the past several months. My latest journey was to the lovely city of Paris!

As you may know (or not), I don’t usually make city guides or anything, because… I am not a citizen and I am not able to give you the most perfect sepresentation of the city and its curiosities. This time I am going to make an attempt. LET’S GO!

The first district, we explored was Le Marais, which had very enchanting buildings, definitely worth a visit! Au suivant, we walked to the Notre Dame very touristic I know 😉 , on the other hand, an architectural gem! No city trip without a coffee (or 2). Hold on! Take ‘café gourmand’, you will thank me later 😉

Église Saint-Séverin is a little church with some colorfully stained glass windows! Followed by Le jardin de Luxembourg. If I were a local, I would certainly relax in one of the well-known green seats at least a few times in the sunny months!Le prochain arrêt: La Galerie de la Fayette Haussmann. Well, it’s no secret that I adore to shop, this place: cloud nine! Did I buy anything… no! Even I can’t understand it?! I assume that it has something to do with my mindset because I guess I was too focused on all the new experiences, impressions and the exploring part. Maybe a shopping trip next time… love that idea😉

Le look de jour: A quit simple plaid blazer, a blue shirt and my DIY jeans I gave a nice touch to my old jeans by cutting and painting some typical Gaëlle this on them (maybe I will make another post about them). To top it off, some dad sneakers. It took weeks to find the right pair (hahaha this always happens when I am looking for something in particular) eventually, I went for these pinkitydrinkity ones! Oh, last but not least, my mom’s vintage Louis Vuitton. After all, we were in Paris…;)

Stay tuned for part two!
